Sheep 2006/7; entitled 'Life with sheep; lawnmowers are easier' as we got the sheep when our lawn mower broke down. We had them for a year, during which time we realised that as animals they're very inquisitive and interested in people, they do not just eat grass! The series of paintings, all acrylic on canvas, flowed from stories of the escapades of Benny and Gus; peering through a window at the singer during a concert downstairs, breaking into the bedroom and bathroom or sleeping in the front porch like one massive sheepskin rug. Memorable. They were rehomed to Wye (near Canterbury).
